"I Bumped My Head" Wristbands

A head bump at school needs to reach the person collecting the child, and a note in a bag does not always get there. A high-visibility band on the wrist does: it is seen at the gate, and it starts the conversation without a phone call.

Printed in black on neon yellow Tyvek so it stands out against uniform, with a tamper-evident seal that keeps it on for the rest of the day. Add your school name in the designer if you want the band to say who issued it.

Through the rest of the day

The band goes on when the bump is recorded and stays on until collection, so the handover does not depend on one adult remembering at half past three. Tyvek is waterproof and tear-resistant, so handwashing, PE and a wet playground do not destroy the record. The adhesive seal tears if the band is pulled off, which means it cannot quietly disappear before the gate.

What to add before you order

Most schools add their name so a parent can see who issued the band, and some add a line for the time. Keep it to a few bold words: this prints in a single black ink, so contrast matters more than detail and photographs will not reproduce. The artwork guide has the print area and safe margins.
