Every Wristband We Print

Every wristband we print, in one place. There are two decisions to make and they are independent of each other: which band you want, and what goes on it.

The band is the material and the way it is printed. All three of ours are Tyvek, the same spun synthetic used in courier envelopes and building wrap. It handles like paper but does not tear along a fold or turn to pulp in the rain, which is why it survives sweat, weather and a full weekend on a wrist. What separates the three is the printing: a single black ink on any of eleven band colours is the cheapest, full colour opens up photographs and printed backgrounds, and full colour on a black band puts the same artwork on a dark base.

The design is what goes on the band. Upload your own artwork to a blank band, or start from one of the ready-made designs on this page: patterns such as zebra, stripes and chequered, occasion bands for Halloween, Bonfire Night, Christmas and New Year, and message bands that say one clear thing, such as Age Checked, Bag Checked or Medicine Given.

Whichever route you take, orders start at 50 bands in batches of 10, every band carries a tamper-evident adhesive seal and a unique serial number, and you approve an online proof before anything reaches the press.

All three bands are the same Tyvek stock, with the same tamper-evident seal and the same serial numbering. The only thing that changes between them is how the artwork is printed, and that is the only reason the price changes.

The cheapest and the dearest band are only a few pounds apart across 50 bands. That is small enough that the sensible way to choose is on what the artwork needs rather than on price. If your design has a photograph, a gradient or a background colour in it, the single-ink band cannot print it, and no saving makes up for artwork that does not reproduce.

What does not change between them: all three are waterproof and tear-resistant, all three use the same adhesive that tears or leaves a visible mark if anyone tries to move a band to another wrist, and all three are printed in the UK. None of them is a fabric or silicone band, so none is meant to stay on for weeks.

Start with the artwork. It rules out more options than the budget does.

Your design is text, a logo or a date

The single-ink Tyvek band is the cheapest way to get it onto a wrist, and the eleven band colours do the rest. Most colour-coding jobs are this: the point is that Saturday's band is not Sunday's, or that staff are not guests, so the band colour carries the information and the ink only has to carry a name.

Your design has a photograph or a background

You need full colour. Photographs, gradients, sponsor brand colours and any ink that runs to the edge of the band have to be printed CMYK. This is not a quality upgrade you can skip: the single-ink band physically cannot reproduce them.

You want the band itself to be dark

Black bands take the same full-colour artwork on a black base. They are the usual pick for VIP, backstage, evening and black-tie events, where a white band reads as day ticket.

You do not have artwork

Start from a ready-made design above. Patterns, occasion bands and message bands are finished artwork you can order as they are or edit first, so an age check band or a zebra band takes a few minutes rather than a design job.

How many wristbands can I order?

From 50 bands, in batches of 10. There is no maximum: we fulfil runs into the tens of thousands.

How much do they cost?

Tyvek, single ink: from £10.80 inc VAT. Full colour: from £14.40 inc VAT. Black bands: from £14.40 inc VAT. Those are the totals for 50 bands, and the price per band falls as the quantity rises.

How fast can I have them?

Same working day across Greater London if you order before 2pm. Orders placed before 10am on a working day are dispatched the same day for free next-day delivery to mainland UK.

Can I see what will print before I buy?

Yes. The online designer shows the printable area of the band and produces the proof you approve. Nothing reaches the press until you have signed it off.

Are the bands secure?

Every band carries an adhesive tamper-evident seal, so it tears or leaves a visible mark if anyone tries to move it to another wrist, and a unique six-digit serial number.

Are they waterproof?

Yes. Tyvek is the same spun synthetic used in courier envelopes and building wrap. It survives rain, sweat and a full weekend on a wrist without tearing or turning to pulp.

Can you print photographs and sponsor logos?

On the full-colour bands, yes: CMYK edge to edge, including the background. The single-ink band prints black only, so photographs and gradients need full colour.

Do you print for schools and charities?
