"Inhaler Used Today" Wristbands

Inhaler use during the day is something a parent needs to know about that evening, and something the next member of staff needs to know about within the hour. A band does both without paperwork.

Why the colour matters here

Asthma bands are read in a hurry, often by someone who was not there when the inhaler was used. Orange sits far enough from the green first-aid band and the gold medicine band that nobody has to stop and read to know which alert they are looking at. Keep the same colour across every site if you run more than one.

Clubs, trips and cover staff

The band earns its place when the usual adult is not there: a cover teacher, a holiday club, a residential. It carries the information to whoever is supervising without depending on a file being opened.
