What edge-to-edge printing means

Full colour is CMYK printed to the edges of the band, including the background. The band is not a white strip with a logo dropped onto it: the colour runs right out, so the whole band carries your artwork. That is the difference that matters when a band has to look like part of a branded event rather than a car park pass.

When to choose full colour

Choose this band when the artwork cannot be reduced to one ink. Photographs, gradients, a sponsor's exact brand colours, a repeating pattern, or artwork that has to sit on a coloured background all need full colour. If your design is text and a logo in a single colour, the black print band does the same job for less.

Patterns are a common reason to come here: zebra, striped and chequered bands are all printed rather than stocked, so both colours in the pattern are yours to change.

Artwork and resolution

Supply artwork at 300dpi at the printed size. The online proof is where you check that a photograph has held up and that a brand colour has come out as intended, which matters more here than on a single-ink band. The artwork guide has the printable area, bleed and safe margins.

Security and tamper evidence

Every band carries an adhesive tamper-evident seal and a unique six-digit serial number. The seal tears or leaves a visible mark if a band is removed, so it cannot be passed back over a fence or refitted to someone else. That is what makes full colour bands usable for paid and multi-day admission rather than decoration alone.

What Tyvek is

Tyvek is a spun synthetic, the same material used in courier envelopes and building wrap. It is waterproof and tear-resistant, so ink stays legible through rain, sweat and several days of wear. Colour does not run and the band does not soften at the edges the way a coated paper band would.

Quantities and price

For multi-day events, most organisers print the day or the zone into the artwork itself rather than relying on band colour alone, since full colour lets you change both.
