Striped wristbands are the easiest pattern to tell apart at speed, which makes them the usual choice for multi-day events and zoned access where each day or area gets its own colour.
Fourteen presets cover the common combinations, and because the stripes are printed rather than stocked, both the stripe colour and the band behind it are yours to change.
Stripes leave plenty of clear space for a name, date or logo, so they suit bands that have to carry information as well as colour-coding.
Colour-coding a multi-day event
Give each day its own stripe colour and keep the band colour constant, so the set reads as one family rather than five unrelated bands. Stewards learn the sequence in a shift, and a wearer cannot argue that Saturday band looks like Sunday.
